My First post here. I am building the Lamborghini with my 14 year old Autistic daughter. We have subscribed to this build and the Millennium Falcon!.
Pack 1 arrived and I was very impressed with the Quality of the parts, we took up the Christmas low price offer.
Friday of this week, Pack 2 arrived, unfortunately, the box was damaged and parts missing and we has two issue 7 packs.
Rang customer support, they were great, a new Pack 2 is on it's way.
Will post pictures of are build soon!

BigGrin Welcome to the forum to yourself and your daughter,

feel free to ask if you have any build problems although she is fitting together without a fault so far. I think you have just been unfortunate with your damaged delivery as its a rare ocurance for it to happen. Happy building.

Regards

AndyCool

Hi all, I finally got a replacement Pack2 yesterday. The first box was damaged with parts missing.
Great customer service from DeAgostini, free post address to return the faulty package.
Attached a poor picture of my first parts. Unfortunately I managed to damage one of the rear wing stays, I will have to either glue this in place, or order a new parts.

Regards
Jon

If you resize your photos to around 450x600 they will then appear on the forum as photos rather than downloads

I somehow missed this post.

Firstly another warm welcome to the forum from myself.

Its really good to start seeing more Lamborghini builds appearing, it really is a fantastic looking kit and one that I am enjoying immensly. Im just glad I have other projects to keep me busy in between deliveries to help ease the agonising wait for the next pack BigGrin

Hi all, I have just got my neighbour to sign up to the build too, he is impressed with the model.
I hope to get my first Shelby Mustang issues today, another 1/8 scale build to join my Lambo.
The parts for these kit's must take ages to produce the tooling, moulds, printing etc. It would be nice to see how the production comes together?
Maybe Deagostini could put together a publication, showing all their models over the years, with a look behind the scenes?
Thanks for the comments

Jon

Hi All,
I am trying to get some metal primer for the exhausts. The Mr Hobby Metal Primer, in the spray form, I can't get anywhere online, apart from abroad.
I can get the Mr Hobby Metal Primer liquid here in the Uk, but assume it will need to be thinned.
As a novice modeller any thoughts on other off the shelf products appreciated, or if you have some I can buy that would be great.

Hi Jon

I had to order mine from Europe as was also unable to find a UK supplier that had any in stock.

Surely the liquid you just brush on, although I am struggling to find any info on that via google Cursing

Mr Hobby Metal Primer used to be available from MDC - http://www.modeldesignconstruction.co.uk/

It seems they have now changed the way they do business with GSI Products and now offer a list of links to the Mr Hobby / Gunze stock, unfortunately the primer spray is not listed.

It would be best to contact MDC direct to ask if there is some surplus in stock.
