That's a fabulous result with the simulated rust Mick, it looks ultra-realistic and the faded paint is equally good - well done!!

Anyway using there set on this.and with quite a few Plastic spoons now rusted was happy to proceed onto tank.only downside is you guys are costing me a fortune .do luv the learning though.and with each model I do learn new techniques. Hi this is the rearrection of an old project I really must finish this time she now got wheels. The top deck with parts added before I paint.i left the turret rotation unit off for now and will add it after painting.the turret bin assembled with the recoil put in,and barrel elevation unit.you may notice I put brass wire around hole in center off turret.this is to prevent the wires being cut on the Sharpe edge of hole.lesson learned from previous tanks I have done.cheers mick.:-D mogwai attached the following image(s): Builds hms victory, suzuki gsx 1300 R hayabusa, honda C B 750, lamborghini countach L P 500 S, tamiya 1/16 rc full option tiger 1 tank, built, Mclaren M P 4 - 23. Hi I should add if you line the hole in the stay to prevent wire damage you will need to put the non connecter end of the flash unit through this hole before assembling in the barrel.as the connecter will no longer go through it. Anyway if it goes there nothing you can do with it.except get new one.and as this involves splitting the barrel to get new one in.youvwould probably not bother.its only design fault really. And as new one costs 50 quid.id live without the flash.cheers mick. Hi thanks to all who looked in and left comments, much appreciated. Done bit more on this fitted drive sprockets and idler wheels to back fitted tracks.the instructions say take out 3 links but this leaves tracks way to tight. So I took out 2.i have weathered the tracks a bit.not gone mad as this a working model.kept the paint very thin to not gunge up any of the links.fitted the electrics and radio.still some tidying up of wires to do. But I'll do that when I finished the rest. The body top still needs bit more work paint wise. But it started.could not resist lil play.all works well first time out.cheers mick. :-D mogwai attached the following image(s): Builds hms victory, suzuki gsx 1300 R hayabusa, honda C B 750, lamborghini countach L P 500 S, tamiya 1/16 rc full option tiger 1 tank, built, Mclaren M P 4 - 23.
