Hi All, BigGrin

Taken delivery of this relatively cheapy kit. £11.99p

NB: There is a copyright on the box only which I assume is for the kit itself. Should anything enclosed within this thread be in breach of that copyright, then just say so and I`ll remove it.
I`m purely posting this as a construction and painting demo to the best of my ability.

Ok, the box art:Pic 1

The parts, not bad. Very little flash and no sinkage found on first inspection:Pic 2

Instructions: well, they show you where the parts are on the fret as nothing is numbered and there is a paint colour chart. The colour chart is really good as it includes seven different paint suppliers:Pic 3

Last good thing is that this kit comes with a pretty decent stand:Pic 4

So, that`s the end of the info. (Apologies for pics as taken on the rush).

Further to the above, I have also purchased a spray gun art book from Amazon.
The idea being that I want to improve my paint spraying, so purchased a cheaper kit that will benefit from paint layering. This one especially as the dog from pictures I`ve sourced was dappled grey.

In conclusion, this has two ways to go. Well maybe three:

1: Brilliant
2: Ok
3: I`ll let you decide on that one.Confused

Will be taking this on slowly as need to learn some new techniques on the way, but be assured this one will be shown "Warts and All" until I get the best result I can.

Diary to follow at some point soon. BigGrin

Hello Derek, and nice to see yet another figure build starting up - well done!! Cool ThumpUp

That looks an interesting figure, especially with the dog beside it and certainly I'll look forward to watching your build unfold. Spencer did a good job on one of those 'Mini-Art' WW1 German 1:16 figures a while back - the Ernst Udet figure - which you might find useful as a method reference for painting yours as the uniforms are similar if not the same? You can find it here:

http://forum.model-space...spx?g=posts&t=10562

Which reminds me, I must find some time to get on and paint some more of my 1:9 Ivan Kozhedub figure.
