WOW!!! Drool Love Drool Love Drool

What can I say Malc? You are creating a stunningly detailed model of the M23 here and I think it is going to be awesome when finished, which I look forward to seeing very much.

You appear to have been bitten VERY hard by the 'superdetailing bug' Malc, but unfortunately I have to tell you as a long time sufferer myself, that once bitten, there is absolutely NO cure!! You will find it almost impossible to build another model straight from the box ever again!! .....

..... But who cares if it is an incurable disease? It's certainly great fun living with it?! Laugh Laugh BigGrin

I think your diagnosis is spot on Kev !! Crying I started out with this build thinking it would be a straight forward assembly of the kit. But I can't help wanting to add a bit more...and a bit more...even though it will be covered up in the final display.Confused
A sad case I'm afraid.....

Seat belts now in place, which were a bit fiddly ( they were part of the PE set ) but well worth the effort. BigGrin

Thanks for looking in. The belts are actually a printed "fabric/paper" with an adhesive backing. the buckles and other bits are from the PE sheet.

Starting with the rear wing. Pleased that I got the sponsor Marlboro decals. The model would look so plain without them.

I went for a painted stripe on the air box instead of the decal so I had to carefully trim the black pinstripe off the decal and position around the red patch. Pleased with the result.BigGrin

The black pinstripe decal along the edge of the red paint sets it off very nicely.

FINISHED !! BigGrin
This was a great little model to build and is a good compliment to the 1/12 M23 of Denny Hulme which I finished earlier in the year.
This has kept me busy while I collect the packs for the Senna 4/4 but I'm not half way with that yet so I might start something else in the mean timeCool .
Will post in the finished gallery soon. thanks to all who looking in during this build.
