Solved the subject matter title problem. I had the cursor in the wrong place.

Attached pics covering my last two emails (gun port lining recess and quarter deck alignment). Pic of the gun ports so far, the second row being installed before the strakes. Still need to sand down the wood filler.

I realise I have made a mistake re the alignment of the quartedeck. Pic 916 shows the forward edge of the decking marginally high and the aft end above the "shelf" below the side plate 43.I can get this to align properly by trimming the cross beam at rib 22. My original query related to the me aligning the aft end of the decking to the "shelf" which lifted the forward edge up 3mm.

Will send pics later when I find out how to do this. Peter

Hi Peter, without the pics its difficult to be certain but I'd leave as is. If you look at the pics on Mr T's official diary, issue 44 you will see the aft ends of the decks do in fact sit slightly higher than the gallery panel.
