Thanks for the comments. Just a quick update, I have now completed the bow and stern sections and very roughly sanded them to shape.

Thanks for the comments. No further updates yet as my pack 5 parts failed to arrive. Customer services are sending replacements so probably another week to wait. I have the planks for the port bow section but as I prefer to plank port and starboard at the same time to prevent any chance of warping the hull I will just have to wait.

Well I just received pack 5, unfortunately they have sent me pack 5 from the 12 month subscription (issues 33-40) while I doing the 24 month subscription and am waiting for issues 17-20.
So back to CS on Monday. I have already had the email to say pack 6 is on its way so I wonder what I'll get, issues 21-24 or 41-48??

Hi
Well I am still waiting for the correct pack 5. Just received pack 6 and wrong again, got issues 41-48 instead of 21-24 Cursing . Best of it was that the packing note showed the correct issues so whoever is doing the packing needs to learn to read.

Hi all, well finally back in business, it's been a while between missing parts and working on other projects I have finally got around to this build again.

Only a brief update though, I have soaked the first bow planks (port and starboard) and clamped them in position. Once dry I will glue them in place and then do the same for the next planks on each side. Where possible I prefer bending the planks this way as opposed to using a plank bender as I get the exact profile required.

Finally another update, albeit a short one. I have planked the bow section, glued the the bow block to the hull and placed (not glued) the deck plate and bow frames on the hull.

Cheers Andy. I have added the anchor strip but a second one sounds a good idea.
