Hi all, In an instruction to one of the models I'm building there is a recommendation to dye some of the wooden strips with a mixture of 30% shoe polish and a thinner. Has any of you ever attempted something like that? Had it worked up well? And what's your recommendation for the thinner? I don't think a normal Tamiya acrylics thinner will be good? I will experiment on my own but would be happy to get some tips before I start this possibly dirty work - thanks. Happy building :-) Any images I post on my personal builds are free to be used and shared under Creative Commons Attribution license, which means you can do what you want with them, on the condition you mention I'm the author.
