Today I received my first package. BigGrin Let the fun began. I'll try to keep up to date with the completions. I plan on trying add a lot of detail like the rest of you'all. So I hope no one will feel like I'm going to completely replicate someone else's ideas. That's not my intent. But I do like attention to detail myself.(slight OCD) I do like to try and fab parts even if they don't work out so much. Well ladies and gents the parts are calling.BigGrin I like to ask questions.

Started sanding the seams on Quad Cannon today. I also stuck the barrels in the dremel to try and clean out the grooves. file:///C:/Users/User/Documents/Star%20Wars/Millennium%20Falcon/IMG_0079.JPG

The Quad cannon is primed and I'm so special when it comes to operating a computer.

Question, Is anyone else going to use Loctite on the frame. The directions does not mention it at all.

Hi Dwayne,

When you say using loctite on the frame are you referring to the screws?

There is no mention of using it at all yet however I have been loctiting all of my screws.

With your images if you resize to about 640 x 480 they will appear bigger when you attach them BigGrin

I Failed to communicate that part. That is what I meant to say. I'm working on the larger images. Confused I did add them to my photo bucket.

I have been applying loctite to mine as I go so I dont have to keep tightening them up, I can see that we will need to dissample the frame after puttng it together.

Are you re-sizing your pictures before you upload to photo bucket, I resize all mine on my android tablet then upload the resized pictures to my photobucket, I find this so much easier as I have an app that will resize a batch of photos in one shot BigGrin

Today I decided to fill some of the battle damage and will try to recreate some of my own.

Also start priming on the flight deck/cockpit today. Starting to feel the groove.

I had some time to paint and weather a little. Here are the front seats. I also made a rear door.

and the crew seats

The door is a work in progressBigGrin

Here is the Turret top after some of battle damage filled and primed. And I also rotated the window frame.

That's my progress so far. Enjoy your builds

5-8 Showed up today. BigGrin For the guys that are running .25 fiber did any of you ever think to use one of the LED on the lighting panel supplied in the kit to illuminate them. Or ever using it as it alternate power source to piggyback off of. Just an idea.
Not sure if I'll get to this batch because I get to do my annual training this Monday. But by the I come back I should have 9-12, motivation.

So today, I think I finished with the flight deck. No, I might add some fiber in, at a later date. I think it turned out good. When I installed it is I was impressed with my self. Its been a few years sense I put this much effort into a kit. I'll start on the hold when I get back. I did not touch the nose cone because I heard that it was being replaced. Take cake and Happy builds. BigGrin
