I have been studying the pictures in your official build & those in the magazine.It looks to me as if the lower half of all the bow frames aren't faired,is this the case & if so is there a reason behind it as I am doing my fairing at the moment & don't want to do something I shouldn't do & vice versa.

You need to fair as apropriate and check bt using a plank, certainly a number of frames on the lower half of the hull need fairing, in particular at the bow stern which should be done prior to planking.
