Hi,
Have just run my first tank through at idle for engine break-in (yay, been long time waiting to hear it fire up).
After break-in thought time to check electrics again, noticed end of the carb throttle boot is almost tearing completely off at 75% throttle.
Has anyone else had similar issue... if so might look at after market instead of chasing a replacement.

It's not a problem that has been reported on this forum

Must have got a defective one, will chase up a replacement.

Underside of boot also has hole same size as one on top in photo, both at the end pleat.

Yeah looks to be defective. I just manually operated mine as the RC gear isn't connected to the carb yet, but there was plenty of stretch left in the rubber pleats.

I've just finished zeroing the servos and have noticed I have the same problem. Is this likely to cause problems at all?

Simply contact custommer services to request a replacement carb stating the issue number it was supplied in.

Often if the Servo is not correctly set or its control rod not correctly aligned with the carb slider, the servo can overpull the carb slider leading it to overstretch the bellows and it split.

Three reports of a spilt bellows does not equate to all, of which there are many hundreds that have completed and run the RB7 thus far and c/s not receive any complaint about this.
