Hello to the crew. This is my first build diary. I have also created a photo diary you my follow the link to see all the picture. https://www.icloud.com/s...dalbum/#B07Grq0zwGFKXiY
The HMS victory will be my third wooden ship build. My first one was a modest build by Midwest Products Chesapeake Bay Flattie I wanted to start there because I've never modeled before. My second one was the 1/25 scale Providence New England's Whale Boat Wooden Model Kit from Artesania Latina. The boat was featured in the book "Moby D¡ck". I have a build diary here on the forum for that one but it was near the end of the building when I posted everything. I have been following many build diaries here on Model Space Forum. So I ordered the HMS victory in June. I have started planking on the launch this afternoon Saturday July 11. I will be posting photos as I move along, and watching out for your posts as well happy building. Thank you everyone. Finish gluing the planks on the launch. Sanded down, wood putty over, and the gray you see on there is Mr. Surface 1000. Sanded it one more time for a nice finishing getting ready to prime for a nice painting. When I was planking I would take two wooden planks and sand them down so they have the exact same angle to each other and then add them on each side. https://www.icloud.com/s...edalbum/#B07Grq0zwGFKXiYGauncer attached the following image(s): In the workshop: HMS VictoryFinished builds: Providence Whaleboat

Jigs are built. One to hold the keel and the main hull of the HMS Victory. The 2nd one is to hold the glued bulk head flat while they dry. Enjoy. JG Gauncer attached the following image(s): In the workshop: HMS VictoryFinished builds: Providence Whaleboat
