You guys seen this yet? Would be pretty cool to see in person. Probably not something I would actually buy if I had the money, space, and they actually made a retail version.

Well that's one way for the wife to park a Millennium Falcon in the driveway with a big red bow on it. Though at that size, from Hot Toys, it might cost as much as my car.

Here are more pics of the complete 1/6 Falcon toy.
Good pictures of this may be a lot of help with detailing our DiAgo versions, assuming that they detailed the 1/6 based on the 5 foot shooting model.

Did anyone else notice that this falcon is sitting up too high?

I was going to post a photo, then realized that it might fall under the non posting rules. If you look up photos of the Falcon parked in the Death Star it shows the storm troopers heads about to touch the round section above the boarding ramp. Plus the actors were always having to duck a bit to board the Falcon's ramp.

I know its nit picking and all, but it just makes the Falcon look out of place to me.

Okay, I see what you're talking about Metal Mech. The troopers have a few feet of (scale) room above their heads. The Falcon should not be that high up.
The video also highlights a lot of angle and detail inaccuracies too. The quad laser isn't even close, which makes me sad.
I was hoping this would be usable as a new huge scale reference for our DiAgo builds, but I really don't think so. It is still very pretty to look at, though.

Oh I agree, its a beautiful model, and nice to see this large of one. However, its certainly not accurate. Unless there are size changes in the new film that we don't know about.

I wonder if they had to accurately size the whole ship to make the 1/6th cockpit with figures fit right ...I thought I remember reading somewhere the esb Full size falcon wasn't exactly accurate because the cockpit wouldn't accommodate 4 people..or the hold area wouldn't fit something like that.

Hi Webb,
welcome to the forum.I am forum support for USa so let me know if I can help in any way.

I think the 1/6 falcon is a very cool display piece but it just doesn t look right to me.The detail looks very simplified. You would think the detail they put into the 1/6 cockpit would mean they would spend much more time and effort on the Falcon.I guess the wow factor of its size is enough for them.

In the back of my mind something kept telling me there was more wrong then just the size and I think you nailed it. They put all that detail into the cockpit and hold area, but the outside doesn't seem to reflect that.
