Ever since I have known my wife she has always wanted an Orrery, but I have never managed to find one that ticked the boxes. So as a prezzie for putting up with me, I have subscribed to the Eaglemoss partwork for her. I will not be building this, but I have been informed that I will be on call for advice!!LOL BigGrin We received the first issues today, and she will start building when the tools arrive. I have gone for the top sub, so we get loads of goodies including a telescope!Blink Drool Love BigGrin
The first package was really heavy giving a clear indication of the size and weight of the final build. The instructions are very clear and the magazines are well printed and the folders are really sturdy. The Sun is the first to be received, with the base plate and Zodiac ring. All are very nicely produced and solid, excellent quality. Thats all for now till the next parcel!!BigGrin BigGrin

Mrs Nems is very lucky!!!

I will be following this with interest.Shame it is not available in USA.

I have seen videos of the finished kit and it looks really nice.

Good luck with the build.

Oh, in like Flynn. I was always interested in the orrery.

Hopefully this runs better than the usual Eaglemoss chaos lately, considering they did this one already some years ago.
