Hi Foz,

this works well, its brush-able or even better put it through an airbrush.

I have also had good results with this, given your large surface are may be a better option.

Your best bet is to upload the pics directly to the forum from now on, Foz. At least then you know they are safe. Other hosts will more than likely follow the lead and start charging for usage.

You just need to check the box that say "attach files to this post" - you then browse for the pics and upload. They do need to be sized at around 640x480 in order to show properly thoughBigGrin

Most ISP's give you free space you can use. Check out their website and your contract, it will tell you how to move pictures up there and display them.

Hi Foz - i`m sorry that the varnish i suggested didn`t work with your model.

I always use this varnish and never had a problem. Maybe that copper paint is some special paint? Did it also bubble the black paint?

I hope you are not angry with me!

Besides - my pictures are also all gone!!! Received the same mail from photobucket - won`t pay as well.

Cheers,
Walter
Greetings,
Walter

Hi FOlks

Thanks for the advice on what to use to varnish the hull. I have tried them to no avail

Just used what Jase said nand it still took the paint off

So no idea what i am doing worng so just going to paint it again and hope that it does not mark to much with continuing the build.

Everything i have tried just seems to bubble the paint so going no further with it, well with trying to protect it that is

Thanks for the advice lads and even though it has not worked for me i dont hold anyone responsable.

Someone asked that but cant remember who now.

We can only try these things

Regards
