Very sad but at least a new venue is being sought.

Scrapped due to “significant security concerns and operational risks”.

Hardly surprising considering all thta is goling on around the world, the base is the RAF’s ISTAR (Intelligence Surveillance Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance) hub, and is home to a fleet of aircraft such as the Sentry, Sentinel & Shadow, and is operating base for the RAF's MQ-9 Reaper Drone.
