Hi again, Got the transom bent with water and plank bender and fitted nicely. Now find the stern gallery 52a & b does not fit properly, I chamfered the lower edges where it plugs into the hull so the top edge of the gallery fitted flush with the hull. The attached pic shows a small gap at the stern end but pushing the gallery close up, there is still a gap just under 2mm at the end of the gallery, ie the curve of the hull does not match the curve of the gallery. Suggestions please that wont mess up later installations! Galleries 53 & 54 fit OK.

Regards, Peter G

Hi Peter, the profile for nearly every build is likely to have slight differences so you may need to carefully adjust the edge of 52a & b to fit the profile of your hull. Careful adjustment plus the fitting of a small tapered filler piece should solve the problem.

Hope this helps..

Regards

Alan

Hi Peter, as said you may need to adjust the profile of the piece and finish off with a small filler. Just adding a filler of about 2mm may make the side piece look too big. Looking at it I would say the filler should be no bigger than 1mm.. I had to adjust the profile on my build and didn't need to use a filler piece but the gap I had was smaller.

Hope this helps.

Regards

Alan
