My curve on the Bow was a little less than yours, and I had no problems, as when your planks start to rise, you can taper them for any height adjustments, besides that, due to the curve on the front, if you tried to force the plank to become straighter, you will kinker the bend, forcing the plank out from the hull, and waste all that lovely tapering you did!
