So here it is, Issue 41. Not impressed it looks like a cheap toy. When I saw this it almost made me cry. I had been so positive about the quality and level of detail for this project and then the turret was revealed. This section will absolutely require a full 3D replacement. The Shapeways turret for the HASBRO Falcon is almost the same scale/size is this project, and it has quality and detail that makes these parts look like they came off a LEGO kit. This part of the build will upset a lot of people and Shapeways will get a lots of replacement sales if someone offers a detailed replacement. Hopefully they won't jack up the price because it will be a necessity to buy it.

The original filming miniature didn't even have anything in there at all. Just a dark grey ring and that was about it.

I saw the gunner parts too.I don't think I will be changing mine.It is so tiny and will be difficult to see once the guns are in place.
