Nice one Jeff. The cannon barrels look a lot more acurate. Where did you get them? What size would i ask for.

i am impressed,i have done the same thing my self but i used black walnut strip found it was easier to work with, i got my wheels 5mm,4mm from caldercraft which i found that by rolling them around in my fingers they took on a worn /dirty finish then drilled screws holes that hold the wheels together .i also made up new eyelets ,rings from copper ,this was so i could get smaller more to scale then blackened them with copper blackner. i also made up trunnion caps ,from 5 thou shim that i managed to get from work using a similar press idea as you have, the only thing i am unhappy with are the barrels supplied from de agostini after seeing the ones you have on you guns made me determined to do the same just not sure how many yet.
keep up the good work.

Cannon are 30mm from cornwall, I think they look a bit more authentic than the deAgo ones. 'Pink Wheels' yea, crap! wish I just stained them, I remember someone on the forum advocating pink, should have tried out first! it's only paint so more tials required! I've been trying out rigging the cannon with 3mm double blocks, but they look massive, I'll probably end up using 'single' blocks unless anyone knows if you can get smaller ones from somewhere? Jeff

OnlineHobbies are supposed to be back up and running towards end November.
I dropped them an email the other day and got a reply advising that they would again email me when back online.
Kind regards
Anthony
