Pack 09 Contains Stages 38 - 42

Stage 38 - Contains the Receiver cable and ESC connector cable.

Note: The magazine parts supplied photo of the ESC connector cable, does not include the short lead with white plug and red socket, which is already pre-fitted onto the LED board supplied in Stage 37.

Take the two plugs on the ESC connector cable, and push them through the rectangular hole in the chassis at the bottom of the drone chassis. The four wires of the ESC connector cable are fed through the rectangular opening, careful not to twist or stretch the wires.

Take one of the black wires from the ESCs and push it into one of the four black sockets of the connector cable. Match the colour-coded wires with the connector – it doesn’t matter which of the four sockets the wire goes into, as long as the colours correspond.
Repeat until three black ESC wires are inserted into the connector. One socket will be left, as you still have to fix the last ESC to the chassis.

Now, put the red wires into the red sockets of the connector cable. Match the colour-coded wires, and again, it doesn’t matter which of the four sockets the wire goes into, as long as the colours match. Carry on until three red ESC wires are plugged into the connector. Again, a socket will remain free for the last ESC.

Step 8 instructions adjustment as follows:
Now take the red plug from the ESC connector and insert it into the red socket lead (who's white plug end is already pre-fitted on the LED board), to large white socket on the LED board from Stage 37.
The end result should be as shown in the Step 8 photo.
(The white plug lead was supplied pre-fitted onto the LED board at Stage 37, rather than as shown in Stage 38 as being attached to the ESC connector lead).

This completes Stage 38. Carefully store the Receiver connector cable in a labelled bag.

Stage 39 - Contains the body top and a roll of double-sided adhesive tape.

You will need the right side of the body from Stage 2.

Start by carefully removing the protective plastic film from the body top.

Apply a strip of double-sided tape along the edge of the body top, cutting the tape to length as shown in Step 1.
Cut a smaller piece of tape and fix it on the short edge. Then, remove the backing paper from both pieces of tape, and take the right side of the body (black) and attach it to the top (red), as shown in Step 4.

This completes Stage 39. Keep the assembly to one side along with the double-sided tape, which is needed in the next stage.

Stage 40 - Contains the top black and bottom red covers for the motor arm, an E-ring, ring, M3x3mm grub screw, M3x10mm screws and M2x6mm screws.

Take the drone chassis and lift up one of the three ESCs that have been temporarily placed and remove the tape loops previously applied, be careful not to pull or detach the electrical cables.

Cut a strip of double-sided tape (from the previous stage) and fix it on the chassis in place of the loop of masking tape previously applied.
Remove the protective backing from the tape, then fit the ESC back in place label side down (flat side) and press down firmly with your fingers.

Repeat this process with the other two ESCs.

This completes Stage 40. Carefully store the remaining parts in a labelled bag.

Stage 41 - Contains the front of the body.

Retrieve the right side of the body, assembled in Stage 39.

Start by removing the protective plastic film from the front body.

Apply a strip of double-sided tape along the inner edge, as shown in the Step 1 photo. Apply the tape along the curve and cut off the excess. Then, remove the protective backing from the tape, and fit the front body from this onto the right side of the Stage 39 body, press the edges of the body together.
Don’t worry if the left side of the body raises up slightly, as it will be held down with more double-sided tape when you complete the body.

If you wish, you can apply a wrap of cling-film to protect the body while in storage.

This completes Stage 41.

Stage 42 - Contains the action cam bracket, main support, shock absorbers, M5x20mm screw, M5 nut and M3x3 grub screws.

Take one of the four rubber shock absorbers and push it into one of the circular holes at the corners of the main support. Repeat with the other three shock absorbers, one fitted into each corner.

Take the bracket for the action cam and the main support, fit the pieces together - the four shock absorbers fit into the corresponding circular holes.

Take the drone chassis, turn the chassis over and slide the main support over the bars of the undercarriage, the support sits just behind the black terminals on the ends of the undercarriage bars. Now put an M3x3mm grub screw on the end of the 1.5mm Allen key, insert it into the main support in the hole indicated, and tighten it. This will hold the support firmly onto the undercarriage.

Repeat the procedure with the second grub screw on the other undercarriage bar.

Take the M5x20mm screw from this stage and insert it in the centre of the bracket. This screw will hold the action cam if you choose to add one. To hold the M5x20mm screw in place fit the M5 nut (with its rubber seal/the rounded edge) facing outwards, and tighten it loosely for now.

Your drone is now equipped to carry an action cam. You will also be receiving the built-in camera for your drone in an upcoming Stage.

This completes the Stage 42 assembly.

Pack 10 Contains Stages 43 - 46

Stage 43 - Contains the red LED lights for the rear right rotor arm.

You will need the red LED lights from this stage and the rotor arm assembled in Stage 29, and from Stage 36, you will need the rectangular clear arm cover, M2x6mm screws, red LED circular plate, two M2x12mm screws and the circular clear cover.

Pull the wires through the arm as shown, but do not pull too hard, or you will damage the wires. The rectangular LED plate can now be fixed in place. There are two holes on the sides of the plate which align with corresponding holes in the arm. Pull the wires clear, as shown.

Take the clear arm LED cover and the two M2x6mm screws from Stage 36. Put the cover in place. Make sure that it is the right way round, so that the screw holes line up, then tighten two M2x6mm screws in the holes in the clear cover.

Now take the circular red LED plate (from Stage 36), fit the plug into the short lead socket leading from the rectangular LED fitted earlier. Then place the round LED plate in the circular recess in the rotor arm. The two slots in the plate align with the screw holes on the arm.
Take the two M2x12mm screws (from Stage 36) and place the clear plastic cover over the LED plate in the arm, then tighten the screws into the holes in the cover.

This completes this stage of the assembly of the rear right rotor arm, carefully store it in a labelled bag until needed.

Stage 44 - Contains a rear rotor guard and rear rotor guard support.

Align the guard and the support as shown. Test-fit the support first, without exerting any pressure with your fingers. When you are happy that it will fit, push the parts together and the teeth will lock it in place.

This completes Stage 44, carefully store the rear rotor guard in labelled bag until needed.

Stage 45 - Contains the drive shaft motor housing for the right rear clockwise motor and an M6 nut.

Take the clockwise rotor from Stage 32 (stamped with the initials CW) and the M6 nut from this stage. Put the nut in the hexagonal socket in the rotor and push it in – finger pressure should be adequate.

Wind the rotor onto the drive shaft. It is not necessary to tighten it too hard, as the clockwise rotation of the motor will keep the rotor securely on the shaft.

This completes Stage 45, carefully store the right rear rotor assembly in a labelled bag until need.

Stage 46 - Contains the flight circuit board and M2x6mm screws.

Retrieve the rear chassis plate from Stage 33.

Take the flight circuit board and two M2x6mm screws from this stage, plus the rear chassis plate from Stage 33. Place the switch on the rear of the chassis plate, following the orientation shown in the Step 1 photo. Then holding the circuit board in place, insert and tighten a M2x6mm screw into each of the two holes.

The flight circuit board has a switch and a housing for a USB cable. You will receive the USB cable with Stage 54.

This completes the assembly of Pack 10. Carefully store the rear chassis plate assembly in a labelled bag until needed.
