Hey there. Greg from up here on the wet coast of Canada. More than a bit excited to start the Millennium Falcon build journey. Way behind the vast majority of people but don't really mind as I want to build it right. Well right as can be for me and my skill level. Going to wait until I have a few boxes in hand before diving right in. Must admit I have changed the Turret Gun Window position already. Will no doubt be poppin' in to other threads here asking questions so please bear with me.

Hey Greg, Welcome to the forum. This is a great build and I'm sure you will have a lot of fun with it. It's actually kind of nice to be a little behind so you can see what everyone else has already done. I'm sure you will pick up more than a few ideas from the forum that you will want to try. If you have any questions, it's a good bet someone on here will have an answer. Good luck with your build. Well I have to say one thing about the DeAg telephone people. Awesome awesome awesome. Got on my requests very quickly and have gotten me everything I had requested. So if this forum is even close to that ...win!

I think my hardest question is or will be about modding/customization of parts.

Okay first question. Do we get a replacement part for the ramp hull that was missing the panel end detail like they seem to have in France? Just wondering as a late subber if I might get the more accurate part?

Hoped I would not have to. It seems like an angry place. A lot of he said she said going on. From the tone I saw it looks like a big negative on the parts. Quite sad.

Don't be tempted by the going over to the darkside, you will become twisted and miserable, lol. I hope you find your answer but on this side of the pond the answer is NO! Apart from that I am enjoying this build and making it my own just like everyone's exceptional build's on this forum May the force be with you. Darren

Well have gotten the framing together from packs 1 through 3. All was going well until I got to the last black button head screw....It was not there. Knowing they are small and easily lost I cut them out into a Plano plastic box. They have their own compartment so things don't get mixed up. So I'm guessing I got shorted one as I looked in all the bags, the bags the screws came in and the shipping box just in case. No joy. Hate to bug DeAgostini for one screw but I have a feeling finding one locally might be a challenge.

Hi Greg, I think you will be okay. They usually send extra screws with the issues. You may just have to wait until the next issues that have hull framing with them. If you really come up short, I'm sure one of us can mail you a screw or two. Stephen Current Builds: HMS Sovereign of the Seas /// Lamborghini Countach /// Eaglemoss BTTF DeLorean

There will be at least one of each type of screw spare in further issues that contain screws so you shouldn't have any problems

Trust me guy... within the next few packages you receive you'll get plenty of screws. I've got a beading box filled with them... they do tend to send extras so you'll be set there so don't fret!

Looking good Greg, very nice work.... .. As for your pics, if you resize them to 600x450 pixels they will show as pics on your diary rather than a download.... Look forward to following your progress so good luck with the build... Regards Alan
