BigGrin Hi All

This is a drill stand with a little extra as recommended by a friend. Its based upon the new MB 200 stand along with the FBS 240 drill/grinder and the M54 Machine vice it makes a very nice and capable drill stand for accurate drilling of objects in the vertical and angled plains.

The addition of the flexi-drive for the drill gives the capability to get into those hard to get at area's.

The last part of the set is the KT 70 compound table this bolts straight onto the stand and enables some light milling and complex work aswell as being a router. Just the addition of the compound table will turn this set into a very handy tool. The machine vice can also be added to the compound table with the supplied fittings so its just a case of removing the vice if the compound table is needed. I have also bought Proxxons router set which will allow me to make small cases aswell.

Im very excited about what can be done with this set and cant wait to start messing to see its capability's although not a cheap out lay it quality should have it last a good few years if not a lifetime for the average modeler. A better explanation of it being used can be found at the link below,

Andy

A nice purchase.

Went this route myself but then picked up the milling machine set from a supplier in Italy of all places (best price) and end up with 2 of the tables.

Lots of issues at the moment taking hobby time out of the equation but seen lots of internet sites converting the milling set into cnc so your well onto your way to some great things.

Kind regards

Tony

hi Andy same set up as me and i cannot fault it the best way to do it on a budget. little tip you may want to fabricate a litle cable tidy for the drill on the top of the stand post from a pop bottle or somthing as it can get in the way

top job and top tools

BigGrin Thanks Tony and Jase for looking in and your comments very much appreciated.

On another note the router bit set arrived this morning it comes in a nicely made pine box with 10 various bits inside with a small picture below each bit to show the cutting profile. Now to start measuring up for my senna caseDrool LOL Love Cool
