On page 12 of the assembly guide in magazine Sovereign of the Seas Volume 21 there is a picture (12) of the stern of the ship showing strips from rib frame 21 to the end of the hull with just a small insert picture of what it should be like, is there available any drawings or pictures available that show in more detail of how to twist, fix and pin the strips to follow the curve of the hull
Any help would be most appreciated.

First place I would direct you is to the Official diary for this build, link below will take you to the area in question.

Hi Alan
Thanks for your very encouraging welcome. I am not sure if this is the right way to reply. First could you give me a rough list of how to post and reply for messages. My boat has been sitting in its box for nearly a year, and having read parts of your diary I am wondering if being a newbe at nearly eighty I will get to finish it?
But first how do I use this forum corectly.
Thanks all.

Hi John. You've replied to the post correctly so no problems there and you have posted this topic in the correct section relating to the question or topic you have raised. Only thing here is when creating a new topic then title the topic in a manner that is relevant to the contents. This makes it easier for members when using the search function facility.

To start you off, should you wish to start a diary, in your case of the SOTS then click on this link, click New Topic, give your diary a title and then post as you have been doing.

http://forum.model-space....aspx?g=topics&f=99

This next link should help you to post pics into your diary, ensure you resize your pics to 600x450 pixels, this way they will show up as pictures on the diary rather than as a download.

http://forum.model-space....aspx?g=posts&t=244

Lastly for now I would ask you to ensure you read and digest the forum rules, they are there to guide you through the do's and don'ts of the forum.

http://forum.model-space....aspx?g=topics&f=49

See how you get on with the above, this should give you a good feel for how the forum operates however, should you have any further queries then please do get back to me.

Look forward to seeing your work so hope you will start a diary for all to follow. Good luck and remember we're here to help.

Regards

Alan

Hi Alan
Will certainly follow up on the links you have suggested. I do not know about the diary maybe just photos, as I can only do a little at a time. This is my last post for a while as I am off to Australia for three months tomorrow, back first March.
Then try and concentrate on SOTS. Thank You.
