Hi Ronald welcome, it's great to hear from you. The Modelspace video build of the Vic is still ongoing with the next pack due to be published soon. If you want to try your hand at building a wooden ship then I would thoroughly recommend the Vic. This kit has the best step by step instruction set I've seen out there plus you have the added advantage of using the info on all the other build diaries too. There is a mass of help here from the members should you feel you need it. You'd be in good hands here if you decided to take this one on. Hope this helps.
Regards
Alan

Welcome to the Forum Ronald.
I too am building my first wooden ship albeit The Santisima Trinidad. Like Alan said there is a wealth of info here and when you take the plunge if you post a build diary it will be easy for the expert builders here to keep an eye on and guide in areas where you might need.

Welcome to Modelspace Ronald, would definitely recommend the Victory, although the video build is still ongoing, there are plenty of forum builds to help you, including the official build. Enjoy your time here anyway Steve

OK thanks Alan from what you told me all of the boats are different was that normal for the Victory to have four different types of boats on her deck or hanging over the sides did the ship have any that were the type Ronald

Hi Ronald, you may find this interesting if you wish to research in some of the old girls history. Victory had 6 boats, details of these can be found in the narrative.... Hope this helps... http://www.contemporarysculptor.com/hms-victory.htm Regards Alan

Whooa thanks Alan that is very interesting reading and to know that she (Victory) had 6 boats onboard or on side of her if I asked Deagostini Modelspace after I purchase and begin building the Victory that they offer a chance to purchase more life boats or launches or the others I can't remember the names to go on the model Ronald

I think the only difference between the 6 and 12 month subscription is you get twice as many parts per month in the 6 month subscrition as opposed to the 12 month.

Good to hear you've decided to take the plunge. Remember, we're here to assist if needed and would suggest you do keep a build diary, that way we can ensure you're build is keeping on track. Good luck with it all..
Regards
Alan
