Progress video from about a month ago.
Millennium Falcon Model Part 4

I'll probably post some pictures soon showing the weathering I've done since editing this video.

Thought I was done with the lower hull paint until I noticed a small red panel I had missed. Should be able to get that done in an hour. Looking for some feedback. Didn't replicate all of ILM's haphazard splotches and streaks. Not going for a perfect replica. Looking to make it more realistic. Battle damage is final unless I see something else I can improve.

Very nice job on the painting. Always nice to see how it looks out in natural light.

Looking great bro! What color yellow did you use? I got the DOA paints but it doesn't come with the Yellow Panel color!

It's hand mixed Valejo. I've can get you the paint codes and ratios I used if you're interested. It's just a little color theory in practice. Pretty sure the only thing I used straight from the bottle was the primer.

Thanks for the support guys. I haven't done video updates in a while. Been busy working on a few other projects *cough* in addition to the usual wife, kids, job things in life.

No problem bro... I kinda figured it would be a mix of something. I was thinking of making mine a bit darker color thou. Perhaps like a very light rust type of thing.

I'm going to have to practice a whole lot before I can even hope to get anywhere near that level of detail and realism (well, you know what I mean by "realism").

I had 2 practice runs. The first was the crappy Revel kit for $15. Then I did a Bandai Falcon once I got my airbrush. Youtube is an amazing learning tool. Trust me, if I can learn how to do this, so can you guys.

Beautiful B-wing. One of my personal favourite Star Wars vehicles. Altough I have a long list of favourites.

Brilliant and one of my favourites.

The B wing never really got the attention of some of the other variants but it is such and unusual and interesting shape.

I always loved the B-wing kit. Was one of the few AMT/Ertl kits that really held up over time. I think I still have mine from when I built it as a kid. May have to get another just to play around! :)
