Hi Guys I am up to Stage 42 of my 12 month build and I have a query reference part 70. In Stage 41 para 19 it mentions part 70 will be fitted here later!!. I can find no other reference to part 70 until Stage 42 paragraph 3 where it states Hold 3 parts 70 under the stern gallery. The bottom of the wale should be flush. I cannot find anymore reference the fitting of part 70 and I appear to have four of them. My question is do I just add one part 70 to each underside of the stern gallery. that seems to make sense to me and then bin the other two part 70's. As normal your advice is gratefully received and appreciated. Nice work so far You will need all the part 70 peices but they are not fitted and shaped until stage 76. They will become the gallery supports. 3 are installed on each side and sanded into shape. The test fit in stage 42 is just to ensure you fit the lower wales in the correct place. Steve

Thanks Stevie_o I have a long way to go to get to stage 76. It didn't mention that in the instructions just that it would be installed later. It might have been helpful to mention it. Thanks again Terry FINISHED BUILDS---- HMS Victory--Bismarck--Battleship Yamato-D51 Steam Train--Pocher Ferrari Testarossa--Soleil Royal--Schnellboot S-100--StageCoach 1848--HMS HOOD-- Delorean (Back to the Future)

She's look great Terry, very nice work. As Steve says, don't through out the other 3 part 70's, they will definitely be used later... You will find you will store a lot of parts that will come into play much later in the build and its never a good idea to throw anything away, at least not until the build is over. I tend to keep everything in a box and at the end I would look through it to see what I can keep for my spares box.. A spares box is always handy.... Regards Alan

I keep mine in their number bags. Just take out what you need for each stage until they are empty otherwise put them back on the pile.
Nice work so far.
