This is a cool looking boat Jase, I'm sure based on your previous boat builds this is going to turn out rather nicely indeed How many builds is that now on the go?

Rather like the look of this one myself so may have to go searching Would you say from a planking point of view it looks like a good starters model? From what i can see the hull is shallow and looks like planking it should be a lot easier that the hull shapes of different craft. Happy Modelling

I would class this kit as intermediate. the hull shape is quite simple for planking but the instructions, although very detailed to assume some previous experience. Fairing the hull and the way the ribs are constructed is a little more challenging than most contemporary kit releases where the build is much more de-skilled. You might be better with one of the Calder craft scooters as a first build where the instructions are much more detailed. Nice kit and like the idea of a slip instead of the conventional wood or brass pillars on a plinth. Look forward to the next update. Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

Was looking to find a kit that my nephew might like (he is 17) and wanted to try and get him something that looks good as well as being fairly easy. Happy Modelling

Thanks all for looking in. I agree the slip is simple but effective as a display stand. J “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” -Mark Twain
