Who here is reading this series? If your not you should pick it up it's great. I just finished book 4. Book 5 is out but I am waiting for paperback version. Book 6 should be out in April, but will probably have to wait until next year before I get to read it. DeAgostini kit builds:

I was very impressed with the recent tv show, so when my next Audible credits go in I'm planning to get the first book in the series. No time to read, but I'm going through 3-4 audiobooks every month while driving to/from work. A bit of rest from the 'Chronicles of St Mary's series :D Any images I post on my personal builds are free to be used and shared under Creative Commons Attribution license, which means you can do what you want with them, on the condition you mention I'm the author.
Happy building :-) http://www.model-space.com/gb/

Yeah if you like the show make sure you watch it first. While I agree it's a beautiful looking show, it departed from the source material too much for me to enjoy. Books are awesome and you will get hooked. I heard the audio books aren't bad except for one because they went with a different reader and he didn't do a good job. DeAgostini kit builds:

If your going the Kindle route something to keep in mind. There are five main books(currently), and five short story/novellas. One "Drive" is a free online read on the main website for the series. I would wait till you learn about the Epstein Drive then read it. Butcher of Anderson Station and Churn, should be read after the first book. The Gods of Risk should be read after the second book, but I waited just in case it gave away anything in the third book, then just never got around to buying it. I will probably get it tomorrow and read it. The fifth one is The Vital Abyss. I am not sure if that should be read after the third or fourth. Now that I have finished the fourth I will probably buy it and read it also. Drive is free online, but the other four are Digital purchases only. DeAgostini kit builds:

So I read "The Gods of Risk" the other day. It is safe to read that book right after book 2. DeAgostini kit builds:
