Hi All,  With the Flying Scotsman building up a full head of steam for it`s sell out national tour (May to September), I thought I`d look for some archive footage and came up with a BBC2 programme first shown in 1968. The documentry includes a famous vicar, one reverend Awdry of "Thomas the tank engine" fame and lasts nearly 40 minutes. There are some stunning views of the Scotsman all be it the footage is a bit grainy. Well it was 1968.
