Hi Alan, Just got back from a weekend away and read your post, I think you can use several types, for my build the plates are drilled and screwed together, and were I did glue ( around the tail fin ) I used Gorilla, but I think others use gel super glue which will give you time to move it if need. Regards Trev. Work in progress: Tombstone (Scratch) - San Francisco 2. -The Mayflower ( scratch by plan).
OcCre- Santa-Maria (Kit).

Hello Trev
Hope you had a good weekend?
I messed up the very first wing plate-fitted it the wrong way round!
Never mind. I've got some of the gel glue so will have a little practice beforehand, don't want to make the same mistake again.
Thanks for the suggestions.
Cheers
Alan

Many builders use "Evo-Stik Timebond" for gluing skin plates or copper tiling on Ship hulls. Its a contact adhesive which gives time to position before bonding permanenlty, available in tubes and tin's. http://www.bostik.co.uk/...uct/evo-stik/Timebond/7
Be mindful that some glues (such as standard Superglue), become brittle when set, which over time can cause a plate to pop-off. Superglue ultra gel is rubber toughened and is more resistant to knocks and vibration.
