Hi All The hull had another coat of primer so now we carry on with the turret by firstly removing the casting block then the stowage basket was added to where the casting block was removed. Next some of the external detail has been added along with hatches and box's and the grill, stil lots more to add. More soon. Hi All Carried on with the preping of parts begining with cutting all the side armour off the casting blocks a couple had warped but easily cured with the hot water treatment. Forgot to add four etch brackets to the hull they have now been sorted. The two smoke grenade pods have also been added along with the brass wire feeds. Before adding any more upper detail to the Turret its now time to get the Merkava's signature feature sorted namely the anti RPG chains at the turret rear. The chains are made up from a brass ball and a length of chain each one having to be made up so not a fast job. More soon. That is really looking the part, although I can see trying to airbrush the chains on the back of turret being entertaining!!

Hi both and thanks for your comments as for the chains paint the bottom of the turret 1st turn it over when dry. Then use a stiff card behind the chains to help keep them in place. Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi All Well it took me all day but all the chains are done on the turret and although not perfect but lets say its wear and tear from daily use. I think they look pretty good too. More soon.
