Thank you, very nice comments.

Kev, you are quite right about the flag, I ordered one but was sent
the wrong size! So I thought I'd put it all together anyway, (call it a prototype) as I had waited quite a few days for delivery of said flag and I was keen to see what it would look like.

Needless to say I will be re-ordering.

Not too worried about the roundel having a white border, in one way it
compliments the white lettering.

Thanks again

Regards.

Alan

Hello Kev

An update re-the roundel, I have managed to cut the white border off
a spare one I had and in actual fact it does look better and more realistic.

I've ordered a new Union flag so will change both and re-post an updated
photo.

Cheers

Alan

Sounds cool Alan, always best to go for accuracy if it's possible and I'm sure it'll look great when finished?

Well done, I'll look forward to seeing the finished base. Cool ThumpUp

Thanks Alec,Thanks Trev

The new in proportion union flag will be with me Friday.
Had to pay quite a bit to get the size I wanted but there are
six in a pack so I'll stick a couple on my van!

Will post an updated photo either Friday or Saturday evening.

Regards.

Hi all

A close up of the fuselage. Please excuse the raised painted edges I will be smoothing these out.

Alan

Really like your paint finish on this one. Its a fairly straight forward design but the number of times you see models and for some reason it does not look quite right.

Yours is spot on and really adds to a fantastic build.
Happy Modelling
