This no is awesome, ok so it's only about 75% of it is actually 3D printed but it's still really cool

This is really cool and indeed will bring the costs down. Now I wonder - are we actually getting into the stage where owning a car would be frowned upon? Or at least considered an eccentricity? Consider:

- we are slowly getting into an era of self-driving cars
- services like Uber and other drive sharing platforms are getting more and more popular
- now combine the two, and add cheap, recyclable, almost disposable cars that can be fixed in a few hours (in an automated factory maybe?) just by reprinting or machining broken components

What you get? A fleet of autonomous, exchangeable, borderline free vehicles that can be just shared on demand using some kind of distribution / repair centre. Instead of getting a car you'd just get a subscription. No more problems with insurance, repairs, getting home from the pub, environment-unfriendly industry and so on.

It might sound as science-fiction but I'm pretty sure we will see this model implemented in some fashion within 20 years...

It's nice, living in the future. :)

Happy building :-)
