I'm up to issue 76 stage 19 taking the 16 round frames but they are too big to fit
The frames have an outside diameter of 12.52mm the holes are 8.25mm. This wouldn't normally be a problem as I would enlarge the hole but the wood on the forecastle is only 9.5mm. This applies to all of the above gunwales.
Any help please?

Hi petrg the frames are fitted to the outside of the gunwales as the centre of the hole matches the hole in the gunwales so you don't have to open them up. I made the frames thinner by filing them down to half their thickness as they looked to thick. Take a look at MR Ts official build and it shows it very well Hope this helps rgd Martyn Building ?
