Dear All, My silicon tube driveshaft connector has sheared. Could anyone advise on how to replace this with the correct tubing. I have purchased some online but it is too soft so that it breaks easily. Can De Agostini be able to replace it ? I live in remote Shropshire so no model shops to visit. My D51 is now complete with only this problem to solve. Many Thanks , Clive crbc54

You made the same post previously, previously you said it was lost..

Have you tried online model shops, a length of silicone fuel tube might suffice.

Failing that, contact c/s to request replacement of the relevant Stage (we cannot send individial parts from a stage).

Did you check that the screws form the boiler rings are not snagging the tube?
You have to move the screw holding one of the boiler rings in place or it catches the silicon tube and shreds it.It is mentioned in the instructions, but I missed it and shredded the tube after running the motor for a few seconds.

Try Halfords, you might find some windscreen washer tubing that will do the job. Tony

If you get no joy at Halfords another option would be a tropical fish shop as silicone tubing is used for the air supply into fish tanks.
