Hi all ill be the first to put build diary here.I have just subscribed to this on the 12 month subscription. I will start build diary here when me first pack arrives. I'm going to go for this one myself. I have to admit I'm not so much into trains but I do think this looks fascinating in all the pictures and am always looking for something different. This fit the bill this time [biggirn]

Hi.I wondered why had heard nothing about this, or why they not take any money.Anyway phoned up today, and found out they were having stock issues on this one.And have only just got stock in today from main warehouse.so be slight delay getting first parts.I was told to call back Tuesday, if money had still not been taken.I'm sure we get there and look forward to making a start soon.Cheers mick. Hi finally made a start on this.by doing the first 3 stages.all parts are superb quality, and have had no fit issues. Like Andy on the official build I'm using 5 min epoxy, to glue it together.to stop the fogging you get with superglue. So it name plate on boiler door.then fit that.and add the drive rods to the first set of drive wheels. Hi decided to update this issue by issue.as packs from now on will have quite a bit to do ISSUE 4 has us build up the spark arrester. Then glue it inside boiler.and fix two plastic pins in boiler, one each side.then attach handle to right side only.all fitted well, and glued with 5 min epoxy. That's it for pack 1.but get 8 issues a pack next time.cheers mick. PACK 2/12 we start the second pack stage 5, with fitting the front deck.glued an screwed on.fits well easy job. Stage 6 The feed water system. This involves gluing the ends in the tank, putting the holding plate on then screw an glue to front deck. You will need a thin barreled screwdriver for the bottom 2 screws here, as they are very close to the ends of the tank. And access is tight.all fitted together well.no problems.enjoying this very much. STAGE 7 release lever This just involves putting 4 brackets on the lever, and gluing to front bumper. STAGE 8 this involves putting on second plate of front deck, put 2 levers through this.had to lightly file slots to get levers through.and attach front bumper, to front deck via 2 screws behind levers.then add the inspection plates, with steps glued to them.
