Hello
Having a run of problems one way or another!
I've screwed the brass screw into the brass shaft securing the gear wheel to the backplate but the shaft is loose and I cannot tighten the screw any further.
In turn this is not allowing the prop blades to rotate.as the gear wheel is 'floppy'
Any ideas?
Thank you
Alan

The screw is slightly overlong. Carefully file off appox 0.8mm - 1mm from screw thread. See post #343 here http://forum.model-space...sts&t=8666&p=18

Thanks Tomick
I used a washer in the end. Will this cause problems as I noticed in the post you sent the link for suggested not using one?
Thank you.
Regards.

If you re-read the link, I say that reducing the screw length does away with the need for a washer., personally I would reduce the screw lenghth as there is less chance of it loosening with use of a washer.
