When I got to Pack 9 Stage 46 to install the battery box, guess what, no battery box, it is missing. Called Customer Service and they said one would be in the mail. So have to wait for that to install the radio, batteries, servo and etc. So I skipped ahead and assembled the Silencer and motor. Since plan to use a Dip-It kit to camp paint the body did not work out, (no tub large enough to dip the body) I decided to paint it instead. Since I already had some red paint. it ended up red. Not the best paint job in the world but I guess ok for us amateurs. Assembled the silencer ready to install. Also assembled the motor and it is ready to install.

Can't say I have seen a red hummer before. I think it looks really cool!

Won't be long now till you get that motor up and running.

Installed the Lights, Door Handles and other black parts to body. (Except for the one tiny gas cap I dropped on the floor and couldn’t find—- my floor eats small parts.) Also assembled both front and rear bumpers ready to install. Waiting now for Stage 46 that was missing from my kit. Expect it any day now.

It's not eve,n carpet, it's a hard floor. I have swept, got down on my hands and knees with a powerful flashlight and looked from corner to corner. Like I said I think the floor eats them.

I'm having a hell of a time getting this thing done. I was missing stage #46 (radio box) so called Customer service and they said they would send one to me. I received it finally on Friday and started installing it only to realize I am also missing Stage #48 which is the throttle servo. So another delay oil I can call them on Monday and get Stage 48 ordered.

I don't know if this is a regular thing with their models or it just happens to me. I have the D51 on order and I think it has 100 stages. Think I will do an inventory before I even start building it to see if it is all there.

Sorry to hear about your issues Sid.I have both the D51 and the Hummer and had no issues with either. You may just have been a bit unlucky but customer service usually sort it out fairly quickly.

Since I can’t finish the Electronics hookup for the Hummer because I discovered I am missing another stage (Stage 48) which is the Throttle Servo. I was missing Stage 46 and just got that Friday and was installing that when I realized I was also missing Stage 48. So another delay while I wait for that to arrive. In the meantime decided to put the bumpers and wheels on the chassis and set the body on the chassis for a couple pictures.

Thanks guys. It's been frustrating being this close to firing it up and not being able to finish it. But Good News. Just looked out the front window and there are seven big boxes on the front step marked Model Space. For sure it is my D%! kit that I have been waiting for and maybe 2nd month subscription to my Fat Boy build. So I have enough now to keep me busy for a long time.
