I am just in the process of planking the quarterdeck and a single plank doesn't run from the main opening up to the gallery. The instructions say use 2 planks and stagger them at frames 27 & 28.
My question is - does this matter?
The long plank runs just past 28 and is well under the poop deck at this point so will it been seen at all?

Hi John, Just had a look at the instructions and there is no way you will see anything under the poop deck as far stern as frame 27-28. As long as you dont effect the lay of the rest of the planking then there is no reason why you shouldnt be able to do as you wish, although the instructions are pretty simple to follow :-) Steve
