One thing I want to have a play with is how easy it is to paint PLA. So I gave it a go with Tamiya primer and acylics and had no issues at all. I just sprayed this with fine grey primer followed by olive drab and painted the tracks. Lastly I put a bit of snow weathering stuff on there. Now I know it works I shall have to find a nice model to sand down and do properly :) The model is KV2 tank I downloaded here. Its one of the more basic tank models out there and prints in two pieces so that you can rotate the turret. Printing the turret. Turret finished time to remove the supports. Turret attached to the hull. The fit was really good and it stays on nicely. Finished 3D Printer, RB7, Hummer, Skyrider drone & Combat tank collection http://www.model-space.com/gb/
