Thanks.

I have a question.

The red section: The bolts of this section are black or colored in the real car?

The green section: The valve are all grey or some different color?

Very nice work BigGrin Cool

The bolts you circle would look very nice dry brushed silver I think, although I don't know what colour they are on the real car.

Hello Francesco,

My reference photos show that the colours of the kit parts you are referring to are pretty much accurate when compared to what is seen on the real car, so I would leave them as they are?

Hope that helps?

Manu thanks for yours appreciatiomns, are important to keep going in build.

I just received the delivery note of pack 8 from DeA.

Here the last progression at today.

Pack 7.

With this delivery i fitted the 3 reservoir on monocoque and i fitted the front steering unit (arms, rods and discs brake). Just a little trouble with steering aligment, but now is all good.

I washed the sttering parts and the brake unit with tamiya panel accent black to give a little realism

Then i fitted the hoses for battery and varoius valves on both sides of air ducts.

To complet this step, i finish the rear left hub and disc brake, the rear shocks absorber.

In the last 5 days (i'm in holiday) i continued the assembly.

I decided to wait the pck 8 and 9 that included the gerarbox- rear axle assembly.
With the precoius Maurizio's help, i'll bought the MFH book to try to give more details on my building. I Know that my level are less than other build here, but i would try to give a little bit detail on my mp4/4
I painted the gearbox nuts, i painted the rear coilovers springs in black like in the pics's book. i used tamiya pankle black for rear calipers and hus
In the 9 pack was also the underbody, but i'll strat to assembly when i'll receive the 10 pack.

I positioned the model in the future place (the tv cabinet), in the first things i would buy the senna figure, but now i decided to purchase (if i'll find) the Ayrton's 1/8 helmet.

While i watching yours build, i decided to take the tyres decals to give a little bit details and realism.
When my model will be placed, i think there will not be space to raise the body. So with tyres and tobaccos decals i'll give a bit realism to my mclaren.

I was almost forgetting: Happy birthday to Ayrton (altough late few days)

Pack 10 is arrived. i star with the RA168E assembly. Before proceeding, i studied the reference book to try to give more detail least for coloring.

I saw that the valve cover have shiny ribs on the area of the plates between engine and monocoque.

Suddendly i fitted the ignition coil and the lower intake manifold.
