Just to let you guys have a look at where i am up to at the mo. Caught up a lot during the half term break which gave me more or less a week of intense building time, and most of my spare time now is spent with this frustrating but fascinating new found hobby.
There are some dubious bits, and I will be really glad when i have done with the planking, especially the bow and hoping that the lower hull will look okay when its finished. I would like to leave the lower hull as varnished but we'll see what the end product is like. Gotta keep telling myself this is my first wooden model and just keep trying.
Anyway, back to the grind of gun port framing, so many ports, so little time. LOL

Thanx for your replies guys,the best guide to how you are doing is given byyour peers/betters, and all advice and help is gratefully received and appreciated. Jess those Victory detail packs are amazing. Thankyou for taking the time and effort to share them with us, they are priceless.
