Hi Rob, for the thin blue lines on the beakhead you can use pin striping tape available in model shops and hobbycraft - it comes in all thicknesses - if the colour isnt right you can pre paint first then clear varnish (matt or gloss) over it after you apply it to seal the edges.

Hi, losing a bit of confidence at the moBlushing .
could anyone tell me if these shrouds look ok or are they too thin. I did use the 0.8mm thread as directed but looks a bit thin, i did use beeswax.
thanks

Hi Rob, looking at your first image I would say the thread on the right is 0.8mm and the left is 0.5mm. Shrouds should be done using 0.8mm black thread and think you can get a better idea of how it should look by looking here in the Official Video.... Hold you ruler behind one of the shrouds and you should be able to work out the thickness of the thread used....Cool Cool Cool

Hope this helps..

It's very easy to get confused over the thickness of the threads especially if the labels fall off. Always a good habit to get into to mark the spools off with the thickness as soon as you receive them. Crying Crying
