Issue 10 done. Everything good so far, even managed to get the bow bulkhead warp issue under control so far.

Decided on building on the balcony today in this weather and as you can see my table doubles as a fine building jig. I swear I did not buy it with this in mind.

Very nice update on your build.

Lovely to work outside if you can just get the weather just right.

Had a week off this week and its either been far to hot, too windy or as today heavy rain and thunderstorms :-)

Hope the rest of your build goes well.
Happy Modelling

Thanks everyone. Almost through with pack 2 now.

Luckily warp free right now. The stern pulled itself upright as soon as the last frame was in. The butt shift pattern I chose made planking the last part of the upper deck lengthy and difficult but a lot of fun at the same time.

Quite happy with the build so far. Contrary to instructions I decided to put a few coats of varnish on everything that has been planked. I think it looks better that way.

It's a while off. The next delivery is still two weeks away. The German office does not actually send out things every four weeks as they advertise, but on "the same day as last month plus two to three days" which usually comes down to 5 weeks between deliveries. I don't know if that's intended, it's certainly not what's advertised, but anyway that's how it is.

Looking good Greyhawk

Your 'jig' does make me chuckle everytime I see it, I'm sure it works just as well as any other jig though

Stage 15 of Pack 2 shows and tells you to varnish the decks, so how is this contrary to instructions?
