Hello all
I refer to pack 31,stage 122, page 427, instruction 12.
It shows a dimension of 5mm below the rear canopy and in the illustration shows the right hand side of the track fairly close to the upper edge of the cockpit.
I placed the track on the fuselage as per the instructions and found there is a much larger gap between the track and the upper edge of the cockpit.
Is this just the way the photo has been taken or is there something more sinister happening?
Thank you
Alan

Hi Alan, My build is a long way behind yours, but it has allowed me to take some measurements without the plating in the way. Just behind the main cockpit area there is a small area where some 3mm strips were fitted across the line of the fuselage and on top of the stringers. Allowing for that 3mm rise if I measure down 5mm as per the instructions, the canopy track will be just underneath the upper edge of the main cockpit as it should be. Without a picture of your build (in that area) it`s difficult to give a positive answer, but my build will agree with the images in the instructions. Hope this helps. If not can you post a pic of your build in the area where track "A" is to be fitted. Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

Hi delboy
Thanks for you reply.
I'm sure it is either the photo or the way I was looking at the photo (probably my fault, usually is) however I have now fixed the tracks and tried the canopy and seems to be ok.
Regards.

Good to hear you`ve got it sorted. Sometimes we look and don`t see and other times we look and see things that are not there. Best advise is to walk away for a while and then take another look. Keep up the good work, you`re nearly there. Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

You're quite right.
I've been at it since 8 this morning. Time to watch a bit of Corrie I think.
Get back to it tomorrow.
Cheers,Alan
