Well finally finished the stern and i am quite happy with it as i think its more in keeping with the real ship, hope you agree.

and this is what i wanted to acheive, hope it looks ok.

Thanks for the comments, i have touched up the stern now and its finaly finished, it was about 2 months work on it and i think worth all the effort, just have to finish the deck fittings and then finish the masts rigging and finishing bits lol, might have it done by christmas but not saying wich year LOL LOL LOL .

did'nt like the brass banding so used an alternate method with rope.
Think it looks better now.

Well I said I would put up some pictures of my build not to much done but a little progress.








I decided to redesign the bow as I didn't think it looked like the original.
