Very interesting stuff Graeme, it always amazes me the rate at which aviation technology advances. I see from that article that the US is thinking of building a successor to the SR-71 'Blackbird' and calling it the SR-72, able to reach speeds of Mach 6+? Now that would be an awesome aircraft!!
