Alright all you padawan out there... it's Monday, and you know what that means... time for a new Question of the Week! The lightsabers props in A New Hope are primarily composed by what mechanical component from what manufacturer?Answer:
The main component that was used for the lightsabers in A New Hope came from a camera flash mount made by a company called Graflex. They used both a 4 cell and 6 cell model. These were barrel like with a mount for the flash bulbs and are highly sought after for making a replica because that is mainly what the saber hilts were made of! Here's a photo of just the camera flash of a Graflex camera mount. You'll notice the eerie resemblance of what we all now know as Luke's Light Saber!

10,000 - Didn't say credits, gold, or what, just 10,000... Ben countered with 2,000 now and 15,000 when they reach Alderaan, total 17,000... Han couldn't pass on an offer like that! :)
