Pack 22, Stages 70-71. As we are getting close to completion, relatively few parts remain.

Installed the air filter with cover and the oil tank. There was some misalignment of frame and oil tank holes so I had to drill out a hole next to the existing one on top of the oil tank to be able to properly fit in the screw. It's unnoticeable as it's covered by the frame protrusion.

Installed the battery.

Happy New Year, fellow HD model enthusiasts!

Pack 23 has arrived, I can't believe we are a pack away from completion and still so many parts left! I guess Model Space left all the good stuff for last BigGrin

Stage 73. Installed the brake pedal and connected the brake pedal.

Stage 74. Attached cable C ends with superglue so that they don't get loose. Installed radiator on the bike frame front. Mine had a very tight fit so I had to use my wife's meat tenderizing rubber mallet Love (thanks, honey! Your kitchen tools are so useful sometimes!) to gently knock it into place.

Assembled and attached oil filter, covered the hole with the small cap (amazing that I haven't lost it, but I found it convenient to keep screws and small parts in a 7-day pill container - compartments provide plenty of space for various types of screw and allow me to find them quite fast without digging through many packages).

Stage 75. Installed the four hoses in proper holes. Hose X had a very small opening, had to use an X-Acto blade to slightly increase its internal diameter; then used superglue to attach all connectors.

And we are done, awaiting the last pack next month!

For the final touch, I found a 1990 motorcycle license plate for the state of Washington (where I reside), made a 1/4 scale copy of the same, laser printed on glossy cardstock, cut and attached it to the LP holder on the back. I also superglued cut-off heads of miniature screws to simulate LP fastenings.

So after two years of hard work and sleepless nights (well, not really BigGrin ) my HD Fat Boy in 1/4 scale is now complete!

I added 1/4 scale instruction manual, original posters, even a hand-made miniature copy of 1990 "Cycle World" magazine with the HD Fat Boy review.

Thanks for looking, and thanks for your kind support and encouragement!
