Pack 18

In this stage the header tank and plenum chamber are fitted, followed by the nosecone. After the fitting of the two intercooler to engine pipes the engine is temporarily fitted onto the rear of the monocoque by its mounting plates.

Pipework is added to the turbocharger and wastegate assemblies before the underbody is fitted and the turbochargers then added. The rear underbody is then used to correctly position the exhaust pipes while the glue cures. Once this was done the turbo air intakes had pipes fitted and temporarily fitted in position. These were then removed as was both underbody panels and the engine block. Four hoses were then attached to the block and turbos.

Pack 19

The penultimate set of parts has arrived. In this pack we assemble the seat harness and add the fuel filler neck before adding a couple of stickers to the steering wheel. This was followed by attaching the battery cable and several wires to the CDI unit, telemetry unit and electrical system. The final part of this pack was the fitting of various switches to the instrument panel followed by the data and rev counter display.
